JMUN 2014

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of United Nations Organization in form and content. It aims to aware and educate participants about current events and topics of international concern. The delegates convene together to debate and discuss the agenda at hand in each committee. There lies an opportunity of interacting with hundreds of highly motivated students from diverse backgrounds for the 2-day summit along with its alluring features.

While simulating committees of the United Nations and other international bodies, the delegates develop and practice skills in public speaking, group communication, research, policy analysis, active listening, negotiating, conflict resolution, note taking, and technical writing. And in the end, they come away with a greater understanding of the world's problems and the diverse perspectives.
